His final time was 34 min 20 seconds. The transition from bike to run proved more difficult than he anticipated and he felt like he never really got his running legs going.
Still he did a great job and we are looking forward to finding more tri for him to try.

Set up at the transition area
Swim Finish (swim was up and back in same lane, then cross over to next lane)
Bike (3 laps on closed course, this is the end of his first lap)
The run was 8 laps on the track, and the kids had to have there numbers marked each lap, which was utter chaos!
Run Finish

Wow, that is impressive. What were his splits for the different parts? 34 minutes seems pretty quick. Does he have a kids size road bike?
Forgot to get some splits.
The first split I got was after the first bike leg, so includes swim, transition, and 0.9 miles at 7:12.
The next bike split was at 10:27 and the split thru the first part of the run transition was 14:22 (the run transition then had an extended run to the track), He hit the 0.5 mile on the track at 19:48, the 0.75 mile at 22:25, the mile mark at 24:48, the 1.25 mile 27:22, the 1.75 mile 32:14.
